What I see, cannot be seen, because it is hidden. What exists invisibly is a vision of faith alone, grace alone and the word alone. I grew up in a Pennsylvanian Dutch Lutheran Christian home, where no visual icon of God or his teaching was displayed; however, I was taught to have a personal relationship with God. This ideology has been sewn into to the arts and crafts as a result of the history there. Within this invisibleness I am interested in the relationship between how word-based faith represent the existence of an invisible God and the influence of my childhood self.
