歷屆新藝獎Exhibition review
陳呈毓｜Chen Chen-Yu
陳呈毓居住及⼯作於台北，他的創作實踐涉獵於各種混合媒材。透過錄像、裝置、雕塑等複合媒材，探討信仰、慾望、焦慮等社會的感性是如何透過物質性的社會活動來傳播。在描繪⽣產消費、資源攫等全球資本現象如何驅動著⼈類⾏為的同時，他的作品暴露著其中的怪誕。⽽另⼀⽅⾯在作品中透過物質性的探索，思考在資本-技術的驅⼒下，⼈、物、環境所相互建構及滲透的關係與邊界。近期參展於台北美術館、光州國立⽂化殿堂、鳳甲美術館、亞洲雙年展、香港藝術中⼼等。

CHEN Chen-Yu
CHEN Chen-Yu is a multimedia artist. His works look into the landscapes under the construction of digital industrialization and globalization of Capital, and the inter-activities between human, commodity and image. Working with moving images, objects, and installations, his practice often juxtapose various media and examine how beliefs, desires, and anxieties are materially distributed in social production. His works on one hand, depict the phenomena created by re/production, consumption, and extraction, on the other hand, explore the interpenetrative relationship and boundary between human, object and environment. His works have been exhibited in Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei Digital Art Center, Asia Culture Center, Hong-gah Museum, Hong Kong Art Center, Kasseler Dokfest, and etc.
