蕭宇倢，1997年生於台北，畢業於國立台灣師範大學美術學系碩士。曾舉辦個展「傾身觀看」（2024，金車文藝中心），及多次聯展。2024年獲「洄瀾美展」東方媒材組銅獎。2025年參與金車文藝中心海外參訪計劃。

其藝術實踐以探究物質之特殊性為主軸，專注於宣紙的氣氛與變化、拓展紙本媒材的當代視覺語彙，並反思觀看的本質，著重對事物純粹的理解及感知。

創作中以非敘事的視覺結構，透過紙纖維的堆疊、收縮與光線之間的穿透、反射，呈現二維與三維之間蓬鬆具呼吸感的結構。偏好平衡、靜謐、幽微的畫面表現，以細膩的媒材特質及中性的姿態建構出不張揚、質樸的美感。這份美感的特殊性來自觀者好奇心的參與，遠觀時，易呈現一抹近乎純白的圖形，然而隨之靠近，越能發現物質多面向的樣態。

在此，創作不僅是視覺體驗，更是一種感知的擴張。試圖在中性、不易被定義的審美經驗中，直視當下的物理事實，捕捉那些相對客觀、具體的美感體驗，亦是對觸及之物本真的持續探問。

Hsiao Yu-chieh (b. 1997, Taipei) holds an MFA from the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University. Her practice has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including the solo exhibition There's nothing abstract about that (2024, King Car Cultural & Art Center, Chengde). In 2025, she was selected for the King Car Cultural & Art Center’s Overseas Visit Program to Hong Kong. Her accolades include the Bronze Award in the Classic Media- Eastern Media category at the 2024 Hualien Art Exhibition.

She focuses on the unique properties of materials, specializing in exploring the novel possibilities of Xuan paper in contemporary art. Her works invite viewers to intuitively observe the physical form of the materials presented before them. At the same time, she raises questions about how we see and how we understand things. The materiality of the works and the space and tactile sensations encourage viewers to confront the physical realities of the present moment and to deeply reflect on how we perceive and relate to art in this digital age. This understanding is objective and non-judgmental, offering a multi-faceted awareness of things.
