侯思齊（b.1996）出生於臺灣臺北，目前生活與工作於臺灣新北。

關注現代影像技術下，人們用什麼姿態閱讀數位影像，在資訊包圍的日常中，真實該如何被辨認。創作以影像操作影像機器，同時存在於數位空間與現實空間，透過於不同維度中移動影像，形構出一個影像場。以不同視角的觀賞方式，刺激觀者思考所見視覺的「真」。近期將對於視覺與空間的觀察，延伸思考我們日常居所的建築，以自身生命經驗，透過影像重新定義「視窗」。他的影像亦強調光與影的本質、影像的物質性以及使用數位影像的身體經驗。

作品曾獲臺南新藝獎（2026）、桃源美展立體造形類桃美獎（2023）、桃源美展年度特別獎（2023）、北藝當代創作獎優選（2021）、新媒體藝術卓越獎首獎（2020）、 世安美學獎＿造型藝術類（2016）。

Ssu-Chi Hou was born in 1996 in Taipei, Taiwan and currently lives and works in New Taipei City, Taiwan. 

His works concerned on how people read digital images with modern image technology, and how reality is recognized in the information-encapsulated daily life. He works with image-operated video machine, which exists in both digital and real space, creates an image field by moving images in different dimensions. He uses different perspective to stimulate the viewer to consider the "truth" of the visuals they see. 

Recently, he has extended his observation of visuality and spatial relationships to reconsider the architecture of our everyday living environments. Drawing from his personal life experiences, he uses digital images to redefine the “window”. His practice also emphasize the nature of light and shadow, the materiality of images, and the physical experience of using digital images. 

He has received awards from Next Art Tainan (2026), Taoyuan Art Awards (2023), Contemporary Art Prize (2021), Out Standing New Media Art Award (2020), and SANCF Awards (2016).
