1999年生於臺北，現就讀於國立臺北藝術大學美術學系碩士班。作品曾獲2025「國立臺北藝術大學創作卓越獎」，並入選2024「集保藝術賞－視域台灣」。

林奕岑以炭筆與纖維為主要創作媒材，關注材料、時間與感知的互動關係，從材質出發探索繪畫在非傳統媒介中的位置與可能。作品多以灰階為基調，觀察物質在時間流動中的變化，讓自然生成的痕跡化為畫面的節奏，回應對光影流動的想像。

Born in 1999 in Taipei, I-Tsen Lin is a graduate student in the Department of Fine Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her works have been recognized with the 2025 TNUA Outstanding Art Prize, and a selection for the 2024 TDCC Art Award.

I-Tsen’s work primarily employs charcoal and fiber-based media, focusing on the interplay between material, time, and perception. Starting from the textures of these materials, she explores the position and possibilities of painting within non-traditional media. The resulting compositions are primarily rendered in grayscale tones; by observing how matter transforms over time, she allows naturally occurring traces to become a rhythm of the composition, responding to the imagination of flowing light and shadow
