傅寧|Fu Ning

傅寧,1995年出生於台灣,畢業於臺北藝術大學。創作多半以圖像生產作為形式,影像為材料進行變造,且所關注/畫的多半不是由我所生產的影像,而是眾多來自他人的生命檔案,它們往往不是作為大寫歷史的見證,並不怎麼特殊,就像是你我生命中都曾經出現過的畫面。對我來說這樣的生產模式反應了當代經驗,當你我的生活及生命隨時都可以被影像化,甚至是檔案化,透過社群上傳,以此於網路的場域中形塑自己,其所建構出的樣貌已然是新的現實,所有的事情都是真的,並不再因為是否具有物質而影響了優位順序。

曾獲2024臺南新藝獎、2022世安美學獎,2021北藝當代創作獎入選,龍顏基金會第十三屆、十五屆龍顏藝術創作獎優選,2015 炫光計畫—首獎等獎項

作品介紹:

若以資訊爆炸的時代來描述當代生活是過於粗暴的劃分,若不肯認影像於載具流動並恣意生長的現實,對於視覺經驗的討論便難以延續。從汲取影像來到對視覺經驗的肯認,我的繪畫是以消化訊息並取消影像為目的行動,而留存於平面上的顏料像是生生不息的渣滓,是觀看經驗反芻後的明證。

  全景拍壞而扭曲延長的狗遊蕩於水溝邊的雜草,因為閃光燈而變得詭譎的行人向你微笑,雖然我不喝酒,但一切都像是爛醉後於公園的嘔吐物,歪斜,與傾訴有關的事物總夾雜發酸的氣息。那些令我駐足的片段百無聊賴,甚至是無聊當有趣,意義的生產在這成為失語,令人感覺糟透了的事物套上濾鏡也能有一些造型的美,而到了畫布的介面上,鮮豔的色彩掩蓋了酸臭,動機有些惡意,但如果您能在看的時候笑一下就好了,用鼻子冷哼一聲也好。

 

展覽概念:

作品時常始於誤讀,因為轉傳而逐漸析出的像素格、失去形體而破碎的邊界是引導我投入身體感的座標,錯誤的眼睛位置讓造型變得滑稽,但如此的形也是就記憶中潛在的文本為準。迷因(meme)在作為最原初意義上也是如此,調動觀者以記憶、品味構築而出的幽默感,會心一笑的原因也不乏自身的經驗,簡短能觸動他人的造型,快速地調度觀者的記憶,並反映了觀者的來歷。

筆觸的使用將這些脈絡掩埋,成為血肉的骨,反覆交疊的圖層與形體拉扯,使得那些即將被辨識的造型拉扯開來,注意力隨即那些短暫地幽默又被拉扯至畫面顏料構成的華麗,在成為形體之前,回歸自身的張力,每一個筆觸都使著注意力離開那些形體,短暫的專注使意義搖晃至於閃爍。

在結束2023的兩檔個展之後,我強烈地感受到想將作品擴建至空間的慾望,從鉛筆線稿的出現,便是將展牆的白定調為畫布的白。於是我開始思考有沒有辦法將誤讀的過程,透過不一樣的媒介出現於展場中,從抽象的圖層成為物質上的。

Fu Ning 

Fu Ning was born in Taiwan in 1995 and graduated from National Taipei University of Arts.Her works take the forms of image-making that forge images into materials. Those are images neither produced by her nor of her living documentation that she focuses on/ paints. They did not witness a capital History, nor are they noteworthy. They are pictures we’ve once come across. For her, this working process reflects the contemporary experience where our living life is constantly imaged, even archived. Once uploaded to social media, these images constitute us on the internet. For what it shapes has become a new reality, everything is real, and the presence of matter no longer affects priority.

She has won the 2024 Next art Tainan,the 2022 S-An aesthetics award,and was selected for the2021 CTBC Contemporary Painting Award, was selected for the 13th and 15th Long Yan Art Creation Awards of the Long Yan Foundation, and was awarded the 2015 Glare Project - First Prize, etc.

Art Work

If we use the era of information explosion to describe contemporary life, it would be too rough a classification. If we refuse to recognize the reality that images flow on vehicles and grow arbitrarily, it will be difficult to continue the discussion of visual experience. From absorbing images to acknowledging visual experience, my paintings are aimed at digesting information and canceling images. The paint remaining on the surface is like endless dregs, a clear evidence of the rumination of viewing experience.

The panoramic shot is broken and distorted, with dogs wandering in the weeds beside the ditch. Pedestrians who become weird because of the flash light smile at you. Although I don’t drink, everything is like vomit after being drunk in the park, distorted, and Talking about related things always has a sour taste. The clips that made me stop were completely boring, even boring when they were interesting. The production of meaning became aphasic here. Things that make people feel terrible can still have some beauty of shape by putting filters on them. But when it comes to the interface of the canvas, they are bright and colorful. The color conceals the sour smell, and the motive is somewhat malicious, but it would be nice if you could laugh a little while watching it, or snort with your nose.
